In our March 2022 show, chef Markus Hofmann from Rose Valley Lodge & Restaurant prepares these potatoes as a side dish to Pork Tenderloin Calvados along with Carrots à la Markus and Stewed Cucumbers.

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a large pot place potatoes with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and garlic.
  3. Add whipping cream until barely covered and boil over med. heat until potatoes are almost cooked.
  4. Remove from the heat, add grated cheese and mix well (until cheese is melted within the mixture).
  5. Transfer to oven-proof casserole dish and bake in the oven until the top is golden brown, about 20 minutes.
