On this page you’ll find vendors offering Community-Supported “shares” or “subscriptions.”
Participating in a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program entitles you to a share in a farm’s production over the season. Depending on the kind of program the farm operates, your share may include fresh vegetables and salad greens, stored root vegetables, eggs, meat or a combination of products. It’s a great way to enjoy a variety of foods, and to get familiar with the seasonal availability of different local foods.
Terms and delivery frequencies can vary from farm to farm, but typically you pay a fee at the beginning of the season, when farmers can best use some income security, and you receive a box of farm products on delivery day throughout the term of your subscription.
