Growing Naturally

At Misty Meadows Permaculture we focus on Permaculture and organic methods of growing food, raising animals, composting, water catchment, natural pest controls, planting food forests, companion planting and working with Nature to grow and raise productive food sources.

We’re located in the Township of Gillies west of Thunder Bay. It is a cold climate growing Zone 2b (some years 3b). In addition to raising animals and growing fruit, vegetables, herbs, bird, bee and butterfly friendly plants, grain crops, flowers and micro greens, we plant hundreds of trees annually as part of our commitment to the Earth as Land Stewards and Permaculture activists.
